I am not a 'cheap' shopper but I do love a good deal. Most beauty products on the market have a copy-cat drugstore version but most of them truly aren't as good as the luxury version. However sometimes I do find a better drugstore alternative! Here's a list of my favorite beauty items with cheaper twins and the best part is during my side-by-side comparison no one could tell the difference!
NOTE: Another reason to look for a cheaper drugstore version of your favorite products is travel. Sometimes when I'm travelling or going out for the night I get ready with my 'good' makeup then use the drugstore stuff for touch ups. That way if something happens to my travel case I'm looking at a $15 loss versus $500! (we've all dropped a $75 blush palette and cursed that last tequila sunrise! -- ok maybe only I've done that...)
What beauty products do you sometimes substitute for the 'real thing'?
Hope you found this list helpful!

ReplyDeleteHi Tali! So glad you liked this piece ^_^ For this post (and most of my others with a similar layout) I just used PicMonkey.com for which I have the monthly 'Royale' subscription. Hope this was helpful! xo Rachel
DeleteThank you dear i know this website but never subscribe to it since i was not sure it was worth it
ReplyDeleteanyway, i love your blog:)
It's a really reliable, inexpensive blogger tool if you don't have photoshop or are just starting out blogging :) I would certainly recommend at least giving it a try and the subscription price has gone down since I signed up. I *think* it's only $33/year now. Good luck!
